Friends of The Closet Gamer over at the Gaming & BS RPG Podcast have challenged the gaming community at large to come together to help the folks down in Texas who have been affected by the terrible wrath of Hurricane Harvey. A few of us in the RPG/Tabletop Gaming Podcast community have agreed to help the region by sending 100% of Patreon donations during the month of September 2017 to the Houston Food Bank.
Head over to my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/the_closetgamer) page and select the reward tier #GamersvsHarvey. The default amount is $1.00, but feel free to increase your contribution to whatever you can! At the end of the month once rewards have been collected I remove the #GamersvsHarvey pledge level so you aren't billed again should you forget to cancel your pledge. Of course you can always sign up for a regular support level if you want to continue supporting The Closet Gamer after September; those funds will also go to the #GamersvsHarvey cause.
